He has years of experience collaborating with healthcare provider teams in the pharmaceutical and biotech arena through sales and sales management.
Brent attended DePauw University, where he earned his BA in Sociology. In addition to his certification in Mind-Body Medicine, he is also a certified Brief Action Planning Trainer, Adverse Childhood Experiences Master Trainer, and Crisis Prevention Intervention Trainer. In his free time, Brent enjoys golfing, bicycling, and hiking.
Brent Anderson is a consultant specializing in enhancing health outcomes.
As a member of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine Faculty, Brent is certified in Mind-Body Medicine and is deeply involved in primary care practice transformation and quality improvement.
He also has served as a practice transformation specialist for the Indiana Department of Health for more than 10 years. As the lead for the Indiana Primary Care Learning Collaborative, he worked to facilitate statewide initiative training to improve Indiana’s health systems by utilizing a trauma-informed care approach.
As an independent consultant and practice coach, Brent continues to provide hands-on, on-site technical assistance to state-funded federally qualified health centers, community health centers, rural health centers, hospitals, and various other community partners across the state.
Prior to joining The Indiana Department of Health, Brent served as a State Director, working with school districts to implement tutoring programs focused on improving standardized testing scores.
